Country-N-Friends
Welcome to a little slice of heaven on the web. This group is all about friendships. That's it! No pressures, no questions, no hassels, just friendship. I want to build a group where EVERYONE feels at home, where anyone can chat about things relevent in their lives, a place where you can go without fearing any sort of judgements.
My thinking is this: I want to be able to log on, check my mail, read messages from others in the group, say what I want to say (within reason of course) and not be afraid I will hurt someones feelings.
True Friendship are so very rare but through this group, I hope to have a place where women from all walks of life can get together and chat about what is important in their lives and not fear judgement from anyone.
I do have a few rules that I feel must be followed to make sure that everyone is as comfortable as possible.
1. Please, do NOT force your opinion on anyone. Everyone in this world has different opinions but that doesn't mean it is right for everyone. If there is a discussion about something that makes another uncomfortable, please curtail it.
2. Absolutely NO SLAMMING other members. Again, everyone has differences. That is what makes everyone unique!
3. This is probably my biggest: Please no talk of religion or politics. That is not to say that you cannot request prayers from others for something going on in your life, but please don't force it on those who are uncomfortable with it. The same for politics. Everyone has their own political beliefs, of which none are wrong. Diversity makes this a great country and world.
That is it, no more rules, no preaching, no worries. I think that with a little time and a great bunch of gals, this will be a terrific group.
One last thing, even though I am the moderator of the group, the one who got the ball rolling, that doesn't make me better, more important or above anyone else. I am just me. Respect me for being me and I will respect you for being you.
